Wow!.... What a selection of delicious treats of all kinds. I'm not usually big on sweets, but I couldn't help but to grab a few cookies on the way out from the Cafe. Speaking of which! The Cafe has a great selection of food! Just about anything you could think of including some good biscuits and gravy w/ bacon! Worth a stop.

We purchased 2 dozen cookies of assorted flavors. They all were dry and seemed old. Will not be back

They have amazing donuts and the absolute BEST gluten free donuts I've ever had. Recently, I had a less than perfect experience and the owner went above and beyond to make it right.

I love this bakery, but they don't make anything sugar free for us diabetics. I just want a donut 😔.

Wow what a great place. Hash browns slightly crispy. Eggs done right toast with alot of butter and mmgood bacon. This is my new favorite breakfast place

Had grilled cheese and fries and its delicious! Fries were fresh, hot and crisp. Sandwich had the perfect balance of toasted bread and melted cheese.

Bought a dozen cookies got another dozen for a penny. Not a bargain. Cookies tasted stale, were hard and dry. Wouldn’t waste my money on the cookies, anyway.

Great pastries and breakfast! We visited both the bakery side and restaurant and both were equally good. Very limited outdoor seating.

Love the coffee cakes and scones. Great place for coffee and meeting up with friends. Staff is super friendly.

Second time being here. The ladies are super nice! They have a wonderful selection of baked goods. Get there early because things will sell out. Items range from cookies, to donuts, to breads to baklava, to pies to cold desserts. They accept cash or cards. Just a special little shop in South Haven, a must stop whenever you're here.

I love the Golden Brown bakery, they have good breakfast and a great selection of pastries. My wife and I always love coming here for an intimate breakfast and a sweet treat afterward. The staff is very kind and polite, I definitely recommend the Golden Browb Bakery any day of the week.

We got some blueberry-themed Michigan-shaped cookies for my daughter's birthday. They were great! Good location downtown in South Haven for baked goods!

Custard filled long John's are amazing. My favorite since I was a child. The best part about the bakery? You walk into the past when you walk through the door. Slower, yummier, people visiting in the cafeteria instead of on their phones. The whole experience - 5 stars. I hope it stays this way for ever.

Bakery is a 5 star. I go out of my way to get donuts here. They are large, tastey and priced well. Definitely one of my favourites and I highly recommend. 100%. Go in the morning as they sell out of a large amount of stuff quickly. The missing star is for everything that's not donuts. Their cookies are not good. Their restaurant is just plain bad. Get some donuts and coffee and enjoy life.

Wonderful donuts. Never changes. Same atmosphere since I was a kid! Abd I am over 50! Love it!

Stopped for lunch on a weekend trip and what a gem. Sloppy Joes, crinkle fries and drinks for two...$17. Got a Spudnut (glazed potato doughnut) to go for dessert. Yum-mo!!!

Loved everything except 2 of the cookie types we got for our wedding reception the blueberry is very mild mil thought it was a suger cookie with blue sprinkles and the oatmeal walnut chocolate chip is as hard as a rock i cant even bite, wont be serving tbat tomorrow luckily that was only 6 of our 4 dozen cookies

I hesitate to post a negative rating, however we bought 2 dozen cookies on Monday and when we got back to camp, tasted them. They were definitely not fresh and tasted like store bought prepackaged cookies, or worse. I would not recommend this bakery's cookies. Blueberry muffins were mediocre, at best. We were very disappointed.

Very nice service with a bakery order, but very average bakery goods. The cupcakes neither had good frosting or tasty cake. The donuts were basic or maybe old? This was the first time ever in our family that bakery goods went uneaten over a few days.

I am extremely disappointed and upset about the way they treat me and others there. If your looking for a good way to start the day don't start at golden brown. Their numbering system is completely screwed up, and they have no tolerance for anybody. I was yelled at more not knowing the exact amount of donuts I needed. I was imbarrased in front of the entire bakery. Might I add that the workers are always like this. I've never been in there without something going wrong. It's mad chaos in that bakery, if your okay about feeling worthless and upset go to golden brown. I won't be going to golden brown ever again with my family or friends. I can't understand how a buissness can thrive when the employees are disrespectful and inconsiderate. - extremely upset ex-costumer

I love this place. It’s a hidden treasure. I read the other reviews and have to say the employees in the restaurant were VERY friendly, I’m not sure why they would say otherwise, they even gave me advice on rock hunting in the area!! I had soup, my friend had breakfast. Great value and oh so good. I will definitely be back.

Worst, most expensive donuts we've ever had, small selection, and horrible customer service.

Charming place. They have a large assortment of Donuts, cookies, and rolls. They have great cinnamon rolls, cherry, and apple streusel. They put nuts in all their brownies, however, coffee very good. One side is bakery other side is sit down area. We will be going back there again for coffee pastry.

After site seeing at the beach we sought a warm place for coffee. The Bakery was well located and had a great selection for take out or dine in. Our pumpkin pie and coffee was great.
